1. Software requirements for all platforms. CFinder uses the Java Runtime Environment version 1.4 (by Sun) or higher. On most computers this is installed. If you do not have it (or you have an earlier version), you can download J2SE JRE from this website.
2. Additional note for Mac OS X users. Please, update your operating system to Mac OS X version 10.3.9 or higher. (We thank G. Szollosi for his help with the Mac version of CFinder.)
3. Additional note for Linux users. For best performance, please, use the Java engine from Sun: download J2SE JRE from this website.
4. Version information. The current version is CFinder 1.21 [4.7MB zip file]. The testing version is CFinder 2.0 beta 4 [zip file, Win/Linux: 9.1MB, Mac: 8MB].
